Traffic Net Reports
Here’s what I’ll cover this month:
- Mentorfest 2021 is Saturday April 24th!
- ARES/RACES liaison statistics
- Public Service Honor Roll for March 2021
- Next NTS training Session Saturday April 17 at 2 pm Central time
Mentorfest 2021 is Saturday April 24th!
This year Mentorfest will take place virtually! You can check out the numerous sessions we have planned, including one on portable ECOM, another on your section Young Ladies (YLs) in action, a presentation about Winlink, and more!
Mentorfest 2021 will stream live via YouTube starting at 8:30 am on Saturday April 24th. There is no need to register, and if you are not able to attend we will work to post recordings of each session shortly after Mentorfest ends. Check out https://arrlntx.org/WP/learning-center/mentorfest/ for more information.
ARES/RACES liaison statistics
Last month I started publishing ARES and RACES liaison statistics. These numbers reflect how many liaisons checked in at the DFW Metroplex Traffic Net sessions. These statistics are now available on the NTS Traffic Statistics page on the section website.
If your ARES or RACES team is interested in participating in the traffic system, including upcoming traffic system exercises, please reach out to me and I am happy to help with questions and training requests.
